    Key fob faulty signal

I have recently bought a e60 520d m-sport. After a few days the key fob would only work when close to the back of the car. I guess this is where the signal I caught. has anyone experienced this or have any advice on how to fix this?

If its the comfort fob model the slot does not charge the batteries. You should be able to replace them I think. But if its the normal fob then it should charge when in the ignition.

Maybe a pic of the back of the fob would help..........
