Hi
Can anyone recommend someone that does the walnut blasting of the intake port valves?
Or has anybody had it done, recommend, outcome, results etc.
Besides paying thousands to BMW themselves.
Thanks.

Ya even in the UK they have a lot of independent garages doing it.

We do this, not the Walnut one but our own taking out the manifold too. Costs 200 euros. Huge difference indeed. Same physical results.
How long does the procedure take?

Hi the process takes about 2h.
Cheers
Really that seams very fast for being able the strip out everything clean out the carbon deposits in all 6 intake port valves and put it all back together.

First i never started an actual timer when doing the job. So 2h is a rough figure.
Second we run a first product through the fuel line.
Third once the fuel line is cleaned, we run another product through the air intake. And we do not need to strip everything.
So more efficient cleaning than the walnut method as injectors get cleaned up too
We know what we are doing you will realise once you are in the place.
I hope this helps
Cheers
Sounds good
