3rd day in Munich and it's so refreshing to see the entire BMW model range being driven around the streets rather than the 20d SE models of Ireland. I've actually only spotted 1 320d and 1 420d gran coupé, I've spotted way more M3s, M4s, M5s, Z4Ms, M235i, 335i, 330e, 435i, 650i, 750LI and even a few i8s, some cool smaller stuff like 125i, and lots of older stuff still on the road too, e34s, e36s and particularly compacts seem to be popular. Otherwise, lots of V8 Mercs, an Audi R8 V10, a couple of (INCREDIBLE sounding) Huracans, and an endless sea of porsches that seem to be such nothing cars here I know it's probably not impressive compared to somewhere like Dubai but by general international standards, it's pretty damn good! Makes me want to sell bodily organs and buy an M4 though haha

Have you gone out to Dachau Concentration camp yet? a very humbling experience. Rent a BMW from the BMW Welt for 3hrs (you get it for the day) and take it out that way.

We didn't, we went to the Neuschwanstein Castle yesterday which was very impressive and according to my phone walked 70km around Munich while checking the city out. We actually only finally managed to do the tours today (BMW Plant / Museum / Welt) as the museum was closed on Monday. I can't describe how much I enjoyed it! The cars on display, and watching bits of metal transforming into your dream car before your eyes, also got to see an M4 GTS getting painted which was cool. I would've loved to have rented something nice, and it really wasn't expensive to either, but since we're "travelling" rather than "on holidays" we're on a budget so gave it a miss, and gave the Nurburgring a miss too still though, what an experience! Felt like a birthday and xmas in one especially that I got an email from Apple to say my shiny new MacBook was ready for collection from the Munich Apple Store while I was there. Best day ever on the bus to Prague now!

I narrowly missed out on a tour of the secret collection and the M collection when there with the 2002 Turbo owners club. Sick as a chocolate frog.

What's in the secret collection? Is the M collection different than the one with the M1 / M6 / E30 M3 / Z3M / original CSL, and E46 M3 CSL with the missing side grill badge?
