Hi my insurance renewal came today, 2500€ on my Bmw 318d e90, just wondering if anyone her has got insured from any insurance companies aboard that could help me to get cheaper insurance and would cover my driving in Ireland?

Call Clements International
Based in the US they insured me here locally with AIG.
Cheapest quote I could get locally was over 2000 euros.
I got full cover with AiG for 600 euros.
Only works if you are not Irish.
Basically they insure people working abroad specifically. That would work for an Irish man working in Dubai for example, but not in Ireland.
