    Wouldnt worry then.... Mine is November 2008 and has no DPF. (1.6TDCI 90) The 1.6TDCI 110 (Focus engine had a DPF)
    AFAIK when they changed to the 95 DPF came standard on Fiestas.

    Great engine, Just need looking after. I service mine every 6k (Oil is reasonably cheap from Ford)
    Mines just under 110k Miles now.


    There's a guy in the UK who has built a twin turbo. (240bhp/350 ft-lbs)

    Super, this has only 53k on it and seems to have been well looked after. The garage serviced it yesterday but I'm presuming they would only use cheap oil so will try change it again pretty soon

    If you get the chassis number, Go on Ford Etis and you can see all the factory options.
    You can get the chassis number from the Reg using targetcarparts website.

    This is would also give you the UK Reg (If an import) so you can check MOT history.


    Id assume it's an early build car that wasn't registered until 2010.

    You can just hammer out the palladium core of the dpf and reinstall the original pipe. That way it looks like the dpf is installed but is really just an empty pipe.

    Good to know, I believe you can flush them also if they get blocked. Soak in petrol, then blow through with a compressed air source, then flush with water, compressed air again also, never had to do it though.

    The 90BHP didn't have one, I think some of the early Mk7 had the earlier 90 engine.


    €200 to tax earlier one, DPF cars are €180 or €190 I think.
    Just noticed the tax is only 190 on mine, now I'm confused!
