Ok, today is D day.

Car in garage and I started by removing the air box, hoses, etc. I watched a YouTube video detailing all the steps and it looks reasonably straight forward
It takes a while to find all the clips, I made sure to number them in sequence.
There are some screws under the manifold at the back that are a pain in the A** to open.
I hand to take a break for half and hour and go back to it.
Eventually got them out.
I covered the cylinder heads with tape.
I have this orange tape I use for practically everything "American Duct Tape" mighty tack.

The inside of the actuators look perfect. No sign of ware what so ever on the cogs. Both actuators are in the same condition.
Is this the sign of an easy life so far????
I will fit them back in later or may be tomorrow.
