That was a slight concern alright was wondering would it easily scratch around the gear knob bezel etc that would be head wrecking having a fine gloss finish scratches would stand out like a sore thumb.

No, the original piano black trim in MrsH’s f31 was much more delicate.

So spoke with Lovatt on cutters my trim is textured and not ideal to paint, so the hunt is on for a set of non textured trim any finish will do as it's going to be repainted or if someone wants a brushed aluminium set I can trade
