Hi Mike, yep, that cable will do. There may even be a disc with that cable. You need NCS Expert. I can even remote in to your laptop if you have internet connectivity near your car to help.
You need to remove $694 from the VO (Vehicle Order) & add $672. Then default code the CAPPL or MASK unit (CAPPL has the professional Sat Nav wide screen, MASK is the other one).
$694 is the spec sheet's way of saying that the power cable & fibre optic cable to connect in the CD Changer is physically in place.
$672 says on the spec sheet that the CD Changer is present, however when it is in the VO it tells the relevant modules in the car (in this case CAPPL/MASK) that it needs to adjust the config to talk to the CD Changer.
You could just go in to CAPPL/MASK and set CD Changer to "aktiv" but that might get undone if the module ever got reset, which can happen. Alos while you're at it you might as well enable MP3 capability, this means you can put MP3s on a CD too and play them as opposed to just relying on regular CDs.
Both jobs only take a minute to do.
