This kind of style but insulated:

I’m looking at putting in one of these lifts. Maybe not straight away but I will install the cut outs in the floor regardless and fill with blanks if necessary. All depends on what budget is left after the house.

Great I’m in the market for the same thing! I was on with SteelTech showroom yesterday, yer man recommended not to insulate?? Also he said 6m x 5m was big enough to store two cars, what do ye reckon?

Also there’s a rival to Steel Tech call Adman, are they any good?

I looked at the Adman sheds and was impressed with their finish alright.

I haven’t rang these yet but check out the link below. They don’t work in my area of the country but seemed reasonable for block built (I think)

I can help with garage equipment eg floor lifts, 2/4 post lifts, extraction systems, compressors, air lines etc etc.

Any reason as to not insulate? I have to go large, as in with space for a horse too, its the only way I got it passed the wife About 10m x 5m or more, I'm going to mark it out today to be sure. Whats the max that can be built without planning 5mx5m?

To be honest I'd still go for a two post, cheaper too. I'd only get one of those if space was a limitation.

Showed my wife the one you want Ketron and surprisingly she thought it would suit. I would have thought she’d go mad with something that size.

That’s an odd thing to say, especially as they sell insulated versions. Something 6.5 x 7.5m would be a nice size for a 2 car, it gives a bit of space for storage, bench etc. My garage is that size.

It was strange to hear him say not to insulate. I think I would go the insulate route.
