Minimum non use period must be 3 months, so if you tax it on the 3rd month you pay for the previous 2 months as well. That is my main issue with this whole thing.

A vehicle can be licensed any time during the declared period of the non-use. This will terminate the declaration of
non-use.

The minimum off the road declaration is 3 months, but you can cancel it after a week if you want.
