Garage/Mechanic recommendations in Dublin City Centre area

    Hi,

My 318Ci has failed the NCT on the following:

-Front suspension offside - ball joint
-Rear suspension offside - coil spring
    -Front axle alignment
-DSC/ABS/brake warning lights (wheel speed sensors seems to be a common fault so I'm hopeful it's just this).

Can anyone recommend a good garage in Dublin city that could do this for me without shafting me on cost? This car was only intended to be a temporary runaround so I don't want to spend loads on it if I can avoid it, otherwise I would probably go to a main dealer.

Ideally I want someone familiar with BMWs, so they can quickly verify the cause of the warning lights (if it is the common fault I think it is) and not have to spend hours worth of labour faffing around trying to figure this out before they even start fixing it.

There is a place on Pearse Street called Car Dock that would be ideal for me location wise - does anyone know anything about it?

    Thanks

Courtney Motors just beside North Strand. Very good and professional bmw specialists there. Maybe PM HealyC as he is one of the mechanics.

Edit, sent my brothers car in for some engine work and was extremely happy with the car afterwards

Conor’s been looking after my cars for the last 9 years - would highly recommend him!

Car Dock is owned by Richie Mooney, who was heavily involved in the early days with BMW events etc. He's definitely in to his BMW's - no idea how expensive or good they are, but might be worth a quick chat at the very least.

I’ve recently changed to using cardock having known Richie for years. He’s incredibly obliging and more diligent than other mechanics I’ve dealt with recently. Good location too if you can grab a bus, Dart or Luas within a 5 minute walk if you drop your car off.

Thanks guys. I ended up using Cardock purely because it's within walking distance of my office and made more sense logistically. Quite impressed with them, very diligent but competitive on price. I'd recommend them if you're near that area.
