    E92/e90 m3

Well the time has finally come!

...And there’s nothing decent for sale...

Looking for an early e92 or e90 on CC tax, if it’s a unicorn 2008 DCT that would be amazing...

Stuff like rod bearings and actuators a nice bonus but not necessary.

    EDC preferable but not important.

Would prefer a grey, red, or white car... or anything that’s not black or silver (or silverstone) but beggars can’t be choosers

I don’t really enjoy “the looking for a car” stage anymore, would like to get into something soon and ideally without a trip to the UK.

What I’m trying to say is if you have an M3 and you’re on the fence at all... even a little bit... just shoot me a pm

Richard, Mr Vader, I’m looking in your direction

Gotta be the E90 if you can get one, Peter?
On that one above, would you not be liable to vrt penalties?

Wow... that white one is stunning... well specced... well priced... under BMW warranty! And sadly sold...

Red is nice, perhaps a touch too many mods but worth a look for sure!

Just to be sure, cars registered July 2008 onwards (in the UK) are on Co2 tax if imported? Or is it based on build date?

Any way around paying VRT penalties if you buy a UK car here?

If you buy privately up north, how do you prove how long the car is here without a ferry ticket?

I prefer the styling of the e92 and would put up with the lesser practicality but would definitely buy a good e90.

The red one would need some work to go back to std.

You’ll need a car registered before 1 July 2008 for the less extortionate tax.

No, don’t buy a UK car here. You’ll be screwed! If you buy a car in the North, get a receipt to confirm. Your bank statement showing the withdrawal of €€ to pay for it should help too.

there is no penalty for new buyer ... if he's not catched by Garda or customs on the road ,driving it for over limited-legal time . main thing is to get hand written letter with sell date .nobody does any investigations if U get to VRT office yourself ,not forced by custom or their records .
I know , if customs stops u with UK reg , and they can prove that u have it for a while and it was on the road , u either pay fine on the top of VRT , or must get the car out of the country ,and everything must be done in 10 days time or so . and u CANT sell it here in Ireland to other buyer ,as now its yours responsibility to pay vat or get rid of it out of country, cant resell it here.they will have your details ,and u will be in trouble .
