The car I most regret selling was my ‘98 318iS M-Tech. My dad bought it off Clonskeagh Motors in 2003 with about 40k miles on it - I was the one that actually found it on the forecourt that day and at the time, my dad was looking at E class MercsIn 2008 I eventually convinced him to sell it to me and then the modding started in earnest. It was great, looked fantastic, reliable and was a tight car. I think I sold it to Austin with 84k miles. I might have covered 5k miles in the 3 years that I owned it and it made way for my Imola Red 325Ci.
I also regret selling the M3. I had idolised DaveDs M3 for years and when I finally had the money to buy one, I couldn’t believe my luck when his one popped up for sale. I didn’t even test drive it, so the first time I drove it was when I handed over the cash and the car was in my name
I covered 19k miles in it and lots of great memories. It’s nice to know that Pippas first time in a car was the M3.
