Been looking for a few weeks now and looks like nothing doing, thanks to Andy for sending me an eBay link to an avus blue 323i touring which I followed up on, pictures looked great and was starting to get excited, got a WhatsApp video sent, and it needed a lot of work, rear arches with rust, front and back bumpers needed paint, side panels needed paint, which is all fine but he would not budge on price. It failed to sell twice on ebay. Silver one on done deal is heavy on price also for what it is also, and I'm not looking for a project at the moment, I after something I can hop in and drive so the hunt continues, if anyone knows of one or knows someone that owns one that would consider selling shoot me a pm.

So it's been an interesting week in my touring search, a forum member pointed me in the direction of a stunning example which was only a half hour journey from my front door.

Had a look and test drive Sunday and was very impressed with the car overall, low milage and stacks of history.

Also detective Andy unearthed Harry's old e36 which unfortunately is in a very sad state, it ticks a lot of my boxes, ultimately been avus blue, manual and sunroof.

It has gone through some engine swaps but now has the original engine back in place with a blown head gasket.. Bodywork is shoddy with a mixture of dents, rust and lacquer peel.
