I don’t think Super Sports were around in 2007?

You are right. Still they could make their way to the late examples I guess - they are star stamped after all.

    Sure, here’s the list.

I think I fancy super sports next time around instead of PS4S, that’s why I asked actually.

If anybody has an e92 M3 on factory sized super sports - and would trust me with their car I’d love to see what they’re like on the e92.

Thanks Peter. Funnily enough I replace my worn rear PSSes with 4s today. One tyre guy told me those are two different types of tyre but actually Michelin press materials state that 4s is a direct replacement.
I’ve found Super Sports to be phenomenal both on dry and wet. Incredible levels of grip and very predictable. Maybe even too much traction if you like tail to be happy.
According to tests 4s is even better (especially on wet) - I will report my findings after putting some miles on them.

SuperSports are great but are obselete. Pilot Sport 4S is the tyre to have apparently or the new goodyear supersport.

Cant wait to these rubbish Pirelli's wear out on the M5. I will go straight on to Michelin 4S

My car is a June 2013 build and still has what is suspect are the original PS2s.

When I bought the M5 it had PS3s on it, which were not as good as the PS1 or PS2 apparently but really suited the car, I fitted PSS which were very good but I'm convinced caused the tramlining.

@Peter - what are you hoping to get from PSS that you wouldn't get from PS4S
