RE: Advise on brake upgrades
Hi Jimmy,
I would do a fluid flush (as previously recommended) and then depending on how you like to drive the car (be it the odd blast or quite spirited) replace front & rear pads front discs and a braided line kit. We do Black Diamond brakes (amongst other brands) to which quite a few of my customers have and are delighted with them. I could recommend the following :
Braided lines all round
Front Black Diamond Predator fast road/track pads
Front Black Diamond discs be it 6 groove, 12 groove or a combo disc
Rear Black Diamond Predator pads keeping standard discs.
I can also offer you EBC pads and discs to. If you wanted PM me your email address and I shall send you a quote on a few different options. Or simply direct email me at : super4offroad@gmail.com
Hope this helps,

I'd recommend just doing the lines and fluid before going deeper into calipers discs and pads.
Coming from track know how this might dramatically change the effort and force delivered to the existing set up.

Do the the discs and calipers from a 750/850i bolt onto the e46 as mentioned in a previous post. ??????
I'd go with super4 pal. He knows his stuff and won't steer you wrong

Afaik only E46 brakes fit E46 without modification and/or custom brackets.
Fronts are a simple swap if you go for 330 discs carriers and calipers but rears require a lot more work as the handbrake shoe diameter is different.
