    So you have a router with wifi ap in room 1 and ethernet cable going into room 2?

    Get a wifi access point. Connect it to the ethernet cable in room 2. Use same SSID, Security type and key but different channel than router in room 1. Let router in room 1 to manage dhcp for entire network and bob's your uncle. Wifi roaming in house.

    No. Full router is not necessary. Access point is without routing capabilities. Like this LINK
