Personally, I'm used to buying things in general that are clearly labelled and priced as society dictates via advertising so a lot of the frustration with car sales ads comes from unclear information and pricing.

I'd want :

Honesty (lol)
Spec
Work done
Work needing to be done
Price
No bullshit.

When they are missing it grinds my gears....

Speaking of price, have ye ever gone to look at a car and ask how much they're looking for it, to get the response: "make an offer and I'll see" or "what's it worth to you". I dont understand why people can't give a straight up response to someone who is interested in purchasing their car!
Because they don't know the value of what they are selling or are hoping you don't.
