The e31 got the perfect engine in the 850csi.

850csi:

-375bhp in a 1975kg car
-Or 550bhp with the f10 M5 engine

Hmmm....

Besides, I'm more of a v8 kind of guy than a v12. It's only a bit of fun anyway!
