m52 throttle problem , help ?

did a conversion and put in the 316 cable but the cable off m52 had a small cable and a black unit with 2 a plug . now cars running but wotn rev with the cable or by the butterfly valve. anyone have any idea what it is ?

What does the black unit look like? It's hardly the cruise control unit?

It's a black unit with about an inch or two of cable with a plug on the bottom , sort of a cyclinder shape I'll get pics when I get out to car

Yea 100% sure it was on that engine and one plug goes into it and another into a sensor ontop on butterfly
