In trouble again.
I was just after pulling out of Fleet Street car park and onto the quays when the car decided to rev itself out for a few seconds before cutting out in a cloud of smoke. I'm guessing it's an injector problem but not entirely sure. Car is being towed home tonight. It's an e90 320d with 200k and was fully serviced 2 weeks ago. At least I gave everyone on the halfpenny bridge a nice lung full of smoke. Anyone else have any like this happen to them?

Usually if it revs by itself its a turbo issue. Maybe the turbo is gone

New turbo only in 3 months ago so I hope it's not that again.

Isn't this the classic loo roll filter issue and and oil sump now full of diesel ?

That engine should have a vortex oil separator

RE: In trouble again.
Turned out to Be a faulty injector that caused the problem. Turbo was fine. Back and running perfect again.
