With the price of sterling and vrt you might be fairly right, i wonder what my insurance company would think of that

You might find it's actually not too bad. The great thing about classic policies is that insurance seem to know that owners are more careful with their cars than most random punters

Will you use it this summer?

I hope to Tom. I think this is her last summer before she qualifies for vintage tax.
Not quite sure how they decide when that kicks in. Anyhow, thinking of getting
the windscreen paperwork in order for June/July and August.

All winter im saying i wont bother this year but im getting a bit of change of heart with the long evenings/nicer weather so maybe 3 months might be a good plan
