Most E36 M3 out there for that money are. 1 in use not been abused imo wouldn't have rusty arches as owner would be keeping the car maintained.
This is how I would see E36 M3 now

€3000-4000 breaker unless you get someone stupid to sell a half decent one for that price

€4000-€5500 are keeper but would need some type of work.

€5500-€7000 plus are unabused maintained car low or high miles.

I heard of a guy who let one go on Friday in good shape for little money so you might be in luck but you would need to be quick

Who in there right mind would pay 5k plus for an e36?
Where a couple K more get an e46.
E46 are a far superior car.
Any more than 4.5k I'll buy an e46 03+.
Pre facelift are puke.
