E36 m3 or cosworth

E46 are a far superior car.
Any more than 4.5k I'll buy an e46 03+.
Pre facelift are puke.

good luck ,but, its dreams ! m3 engines cost about 3k , so how u think u will get complete car cheaper ?and in decent condition?

few K more and E46 facelift ? E36 M3 minimum 5k for better one ,and minimum double for E46 one ,easy calculation ,and its only to get it ,plus maintenance straight away

Care to enlighten us as to why prefacelift e46 m3's are puke bootlid handle and led rears make that much of a difference to you ? They hardly transform the car

Led rear lights,
Silver grey paint option (best)
Climate control buttons changed.
Brushed aluminum trim
And the boot lid.
IMHO much nicer car.
But each to their own.

I had 3.0 95, 99 3.2 Evo and 03
Have to say the 95 3.0 was the best of the lot.
I would pay over the odds for a nice 3.0 with the original Amber indicators.
Wasn't there an individual one sold for 4K ish recently.
Champagne leather. 3.0.

A nice e46 at 8/9k is better value than an e36 at 5k.
