What they don't say in the article is the shambolic way the rsa collects data for example if a drunk driver plows into a wall ten times over the limit in a car with bald tyres they will mark it down as a death due to tyre wear ridiculous have a read for yourself http://m.independent.ie/life/motorin...-34626550.html

Whilst I welcome this as I see it daily and its dangerous it's just another case of the media being used to fit the purpose (btw it's nearly always new 50k cars I see this on maybe 4 years old and haven't been for an nct still running the tyres the car came with as new)

Oh an lastly forget tyre thread we need greater restrictions on cheap Asian tyres, bridgestones with 2mm will still perform better then them winglangs happy long time drive tyres half the country's running around on
