    e39 High Beam staying on

    Hi All,

Anyone have an issue with the high beam lights staying on constantly?

I need to put them into the off position to make them switch off, that is for when the lights are in the off position and daytime running position.

If I switch on the headlights the high beams come on and stay on even when I move the indicator stalk back to the off position which means that I need to drive around at nighttime using the daytime running lights or with my highbeams, neither an ideal scenario.

Anyone have any experience with this issue in the past and got a solution?

    Much appreciated.

Try unplugging the webasto heater (if you have one) behind the passenger wheel arch. My lights did something similar a few months ago and for some reason this was the culprit.
