    I'm afraid the M brand has been watered down and spoiled by the SUV M's, the pseudo M's and the M Performance stuff as far as I'm concerned. The X3M is another nail in the coffin.

    Agreed 100%, I think the X3M looks good and is the right size to be a potential replacement for the X5 though it’d need to be hybrid or diesel, rather than an M powered nonsense machine. My thought is if you want an M3 buy an M3 but if you want an SUV buy an SUV.
