    Warranty wouldn't be affected by using a non-dealer for servicing, once OEM parts are used (correct spec oils for example).

    The EU (rightly) sorted out that monopoly back in 2003...

    And Courtney’s are linked into the BMW system so any work done by them is automatically on the BMW system which is fantastic.

    However the burden of proof will be with the owner to prove that OEM parts were used and servicing was carried out as per the manufacturer's guidelines if there is warranty work required or goodwill needed beyond the warranty period. The discount that BMW First has certainly reduced the price difference between main dealer and independent for a lot of servicing costs in my experience.
