Round the world motorcycle stolen in Dublin

    http://www.magireland.org/2013/news-...len-in-dublin/

I can believe this and its sickening to read...

"21 year old Rohan Felmingham from Brisbane in Australia rode his motorcycle 30,000 klm across Russia and Europe only to have it stolen on arrival in Dublin last week.

The bike, a Yamaha Tenere, was loaded with all of Rohan’s possessions and was stolen last Tuesday while he was sorting out his accommodation having just arrived in the capital....."

That's shocking. Have we really got that bad as a society these days?

    Bloody makes my blood boil.

Hope the owner gets his bike back, or at least his possessions.

Ireland, especially Dublin, is very bad for motorbike thefts, I'm afraid. Worse than a lot of other places.

And something like a Tenere is fairly sought after.

    Sad fact.

A reason, why most bikers keep their bikes indoors. Be it in the garage or even the hallway.

I've been confronted with cases of co-workers, where their bike literally was lifted up on pickup in the parking lot at work in Dublin. In a place with security guy and all. In bright daylight.
